Your Cigna Plan Options
You have four Cigna medical options. With these plans, you can see any doctor, but you’ll save money if you use an in-network Cigna provider.
- Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Plan
- Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) Plan
- Health Savings Account (HSA) Plan
- Economy HSA Plan

Your Kaiser Permanente Plan Options
If you live in Northern or Southern California, you may also be able to choose Kaiser Permanente for your medical and prescription drug coverage. If available, you’ll see these options when you enroll.
- $500 Plan
- $2,000 HRA Plan
- High HDHP
- Low HDHP

How the Plans Work
Cigna PPO Plan and Kaiser Permanente $500 Plan
You pay copays for some services; for other services, you meet the deductible and then share costs with the plan. The PPO can be paired with a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
Cigna HRA Plan and Kaiser Permanente $2,000 Plan
AEO gives you money in a Health Reimbursement account (HRA). Then the plan works like the PPO plans.
Cigna Health Savings Account (HSA) Plan and Kaiser Permanente High HDHP
AEO contributes to your Health Savings Account, and you can add your own money, too. You can use your HSA to help pay for care. You pay the full cost of care until you meet the deductible. After you meet the deductible, you and the plan share costs.
Cigna Economy Health Savings Account (HSA) Plan and Kaiser Permanente Low HDHP
You receive money from AEO in your HSA. These plans works like the HSA/High HDHP plans, but they have higher deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums.
Prescription Drugs
All Cigna and Kaiser Permanente plans include prescription drug coverage. For Cigna plans, prescription drug coverage is provided through Express Scripts. For Kaiser Permanente plans, prescription drug coverage is provided through Kaiser Permanente.
